Editorial mission
armedefoc.ro is intended as a clear starting point for readers looking for information on Romanian firearms law, shooting-range safety, sport shooting, terminology and history. The material is written for research and education, not to encourage the purchase or use of firearms.
How the project is organized
Topics are arranged by purpose. Guides answer introductory questions, the encyclopedia defines terms, and the legal pages lead readers to legislation and institutions that can confirm the current position. The shooting-range directory is maintained as a separate editorial dataset with its own verification rules.
Sources we prefer
For legal claims, we prioritize the Romanian Legislative Portal, the Romanian Police and official services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. For a location, we prefer the operator’s own page, a competent institution or a map point published directly by the operator. We do not fill in an unverified address or coordinate by guessing.
What we do not publish
We do not sell or broker firearms, ammunition or accessories. We do not publish manufacturing, modification, optimization or tactical-use instructions. Technical explanations remain general and educational; practical skills belong in an authorized environment under qualified supervision.

We publish the project’s limits openly and do not present an editorial check as official confirmation. Readers should be able to distinguish explanation, source, verified date and unresolved information regardless of which page they encounter first.
