Source hierarchy

We assess sources according to the subject. For Romanian law, we prioritize the Romanian Legislative Portal, the Romanian Police and official services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. For terminology and sport, we use institutional documentation and competent organizations. A commercial source is never treated as a legal authority.

Law and responsibility

Editorial explanation does not replace the law currently in force and does not provide answers for individual cases. We state the limits, link to official material and avoid wording that turns general guidance into a promise about eligibility, authorization or an administrative outcome.

Shooting-range directory

In the directory, confirmation that a location exists is kept separate from legal status, opening hours and available services. Addresses and coordinates are published only when supported by suitable evidence; we do not use a town or county centre as an approximation and we do not claim authorization without verifiable evidence.

Dates and updates

Publication, update and verification dates appear only when supported by editorial records. Long-lived reference articles are reviewed when a source, procedure or link changes. The absence of a recent date is not disguised with automatic updates that have not been checked by a person.

Corrections

Corrections are assessed using a public source or a directly verifiable confirmation. Depending on the evidence, we change the claim, the source or the uncertainty label. Requests can be sent to [email protected] with the page URL and a precise explanation.

Attribution and editorial limits

The public author and editor is Paul G. Content must remain educational and factual: no firearm or ammunition sales, no affiliate content for those products, no modification or optimization instructions, no tactical-use guidance and no thin pages created solely to attract traffic.

Checks before publication

Before publishing, we review the title, central claims, links and source attribution. A page remains unpublished, or is clearly withheld, when the available evidence does not support its conclusion. The same standard applies to later corrections and updates.
